Good to know
The property is actually a historic home within Springfield, so there are lots of little touches to it that make it quite unique. Mix that with the modern professional design on the inside, and it makes the perfect blend of the two worlds. As you walk into the front door, there is a bench waiting for you, take off your shoes, put down your purse, and then step into the family room with a large flat screen TV. Put on your favorite shows and relax. Keep going down the hall past the family room and you will turn left into the hallway that takes you to the kitchen/breakfast nook area, and also the full bathroom at the end of the hall. The fridge is a 3/4 sized fridge, so it doesn't overpower the space, and the retro look fits in with the historic aspects of the home. We have a Coffee Bar in the home as well, so if you need your caffeine to get moving in the morning, we have you covered! Now turn around and go back towards the front door. You will see a winding staircase that leads up to a bedroom on the second floor, that is over the family room. To the left of the stair case is another bedroom, complete with desk for work space if you are needing some time to sit down and get a few things done before you hit the town. Each bedroom has memory foam mattresses and ample soft comfortable linens to lull you to sleep after a busy day. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance down a few blocks into downtown Springfield. We are only about 15 minutes from Bass Pro Shop and their AMAZING aquarium. We are centrally located to several of the colleges in the area as well, so if you are coming to visit someone in the college or attending a college event we would love to host you! The home is bright yellow, and the front door faces the main road, with plenty of parking and a smart lock on the door, check in will be easy and seamless. The main road is not busy or noisy, so you can truly relax. We have a desk space in the first floor bedroom with an office chair, so if you want to do remote work and be in Springfield, this would be a great place to do that. Whether you want to take things at a slower pace or get out and see all the wonderful things this area has to offer, we would love to welcome to Springfield!
Other Details to Note
Note that this home is an older home, so it does have it's quirks and charm. We have spent a lot of time and effort redoing it to make it hip and modern, but if you come across anything you have questions about please feel free to reach out to us. The staircase up to the second floor is somewhat narrow.

Downtown Springfield is a walkable area and this home is just down the street from the main restaurant and business area. It is an area of older established homes, so access to things such as food delivery, Uber, or shopping is really easy! Walk downtown for dinner or try a new brewery and then walk back to relax without the worry of driving and parking downtown.
